Chain Reaction

Get caught up in a Chain Reaction. This invention-based team-building game participants will be asked to design and physically construct an intricate set of reactions using limited resources and time.

An introduction to the task foregrounds the importance of planning out a practical strategy early on to manage people and resources efficiently. Putting efforts into project management and collaborative problem-solving skills together- smaller working groups are used to tackle individual design component functions.

Setting the events to unfold in a grand tumble as the series of reactions take place, teams will need to lay the blueprint with concatenation in mind. The first team’s choices will affect the next team’s array of possibilities and at the close, the grandstand will be ready to witness the finale of a colossal cascading.

Chain Reaction across the event space. Apart from developing important competencies in planning, communication, and teamwork, the challenge can have an added competitive dimension by scoring teams on innovation and practicality.

Whether this takes 2 hours or a whole day, the Chain Reaction becomes perhaps the ultimate team-building exercise because it depends on the mini-team events’ coordination into one larger event.

End the event on a spectacular high, and be sure to film the final Chain Event. Apart from being a great highlight video for attendees to enjoy later, the video will serve as a powerful reminder of the collaborative outcomes of excellent planning and creativity.
