- White water Rafting:
And your office team of six, unrecognizable in their life jackets and helmets all put metal to water and start paddling hard. Grinning, puffing and eyes sparkling, this seems nothing like the group you work with daily….. Transformed by the task at hand of ‘beating the other team’ to the river bend, your group of colleagues now work as one solid unit…. Who knew a simple paddling exercise could foster team-spirit and camaraderie…” Many of us may have seen river rafting, either on a river trip, or on the television – and its looks exciting! A big rapid, a colorful raft weaving a path through the waves and all the randomness of white water. You may have wondered, if you could be that person in the picture? But what if, it was you AND your entire office team? Try our one-day river rafting trip that Youphoria Outbound & Adventures on building team-spirit through navigating the bends and currents of a river. Let Youphoria Outbound & Adventure show you the ropes, from paddling in a straight line, to negotiating class 1 and 2 rapids, to taking the plunge into the tongue of a Class 3 or 4 rapid. The activity is for both experienced rafters and first timers alike.
Even the most nervous, non-swimmer is soon found balancing off the edge of the raft, determined to paddle harder. Of course when the entire team ends up in the water…. another team building exercise of getting back on the raft begins…

Youphoria often employs rock climbing as a metaphor for life and business. Climbing is our passion and one of our greatest teachers: Through it we learn how to set goals, acknowledge challenges, push our limits, trust others and trust ourselves. It teaches us that we can strive to the top, as once-insurmountable obstacles fall with persistent effort. It gives us tangible rewards for completing our goals (excellent views, a sense of accomplishment), and provides fun along the way.
If you wish to challenge your team physically and mentally with a true outdoor adventure, look no farther than this program. Youphoria facilitators and instructors are experts at translating a challenging personal experience into a reference point for consideration of goals, goal setting, and team performance.
Our experienced facilitators will help your team enjoy themselves while they reflect upon the days’ activities and help apply the things that they learned about themselves and each other to your corporate culture
- Waterfall rappelling –
“Your throat is dry, heart racing, muscles tense and you hear your boss’s voice asking if you’re ready to go… No this isn’t a corporate presentation your about to give …
It’s the moment before you rappel down a 40 foot high waterfall to the cheers of your work-team below… But this is just level one and tomorrow the challenge gets steeper…..”
This could be your next corporate training venue. The wide expanse of the Sahyadri mountains, a clear blue sky above and a gushing milky white waterfall to rappel down – Youphoria chooses the most pristine places in nature to give you that ‘intense’ experience of adventure! Imagine camping out on level one – halfway down a waterfall, under an open sky – and making dinner with the rest of your team.
So, where does the corporate training come into this picture?
Waterfall rappelling at Youphoria is a combination of adventure sports and corporate team building. The aim behind the exercise is to get teams of about 20 – 70 corporate members to work together and reach the final goal of ‘arriving at the base of the fall’. Set over two weekends, this activity goes beyond just waterfall rappelling to include, other team building games and simulation exercises. The motive behind every activity is to enable participants to work together and thus foster teamwork. Would you rather enhance those ‘team-building’ skills down the face of a waterfall, as opposed to a stuffy corporate room?
